Let them sit for a month, and you'll have a delicious drink. Yummmm. You can do the same thing with a lot of other fruits, lemons, oranges, peach, lots of berries. Melons don't work for this well at all.Karrenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03996946332346981746noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3552387675026716797.post-77477247341489517862016-06-24T13:00:17.122-05:002016-06-24T13:00:17.122-05:00They're lemon plums, very tart and always firm...They're lemon plums, very tart and always firm... use them where you need bright, acidic notes. The Crankyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11482237436135513483noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3552387675026716797.post-53305205907221040642016-06-24T11:57:27.490-05:002016-06-24T11:57:27.490-05:00I see them all the time but have never bought any....I see them all the time but have never bought any. I am not a huge plum lover, but I do can killer plum sauce every year as a condiment. If the price is right I might have to give a green plum relish a try.Anne in the kitchenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01533249631969001657noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3552387675026716797.post-22080984102078312382016-06-24T10:44:26.013-05:002016-06-24T10:44:26.013-05:00They are always sold firm, underripe by the standa...They are always sold firm, underripe by the standard of more familiar plums, and they never will ripen and very sour which is exactly what they're supposed to be. <br />Often sold as snacks at the farmers' market, served with Tabasco and salt.
