It still amazes me that people find their way here and seem to enjoy what they read, ha.

I would SO love to let it grow if it was somewhere else. I'm going to try to see if I can cultivate it next summer and make it grow where I want it.

Hope you enjoy the recipe. You are just too kind again. I somehow landed on your site, and noticing that we have a lot of interests in common, I read one post after another for a couple of hours now, so I decided to join. Your site should come with a *WARNING* "Prepare to be entertained for hours!!!" ... and I have. (big smile)

I also have this plant that I call "wild morning glory" growing in front of my house, but I love mine and will allow it go grow, besides, it's considered a medicinal plant that supports the gall bladder and liver and is also used as a natural laxative. (smile) I'm keeping mine simply because I love morning glories.

PS Can't wait to try the Farmhouse Sausage and Potatoes Recipe! It looks sooo good!

Your new admirer,
Gammy

Gammyshousehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01681740912111693697noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3552387675026716797.post-59427075017424454012012-07-31T08:10:33.499-05:002012-07-31T08:10:33.499-05:00Vinegar?! I think you do plant them on purpose and I will too someday, this just sort of pops up as in invasive weed, ha. When you want it it's hard to grow. When you don't want it, it's everywhere. Isn't that the way it always goes? I have even used balsamic vinegar on stubborn weeds when I'm in a pinch and out of white vinegar. I cut the bulk of the weed down, then use a brush to put it on the remaining stem. (I don't use products like Round Up due to the poor farming practices of Monsanto.) See if vinegar solves your weed problem.Bernadinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16587313532492965871noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3552387675026716797.post-82075633318620500512012-07-30T07:48:37.180-05:002012-07-30T07:48:37.180-05:00A trellis is a great idea! It seemed to appear out of no where and has itself wrapped around most of the raspberry canes. The canes have thorns so it isn't easy to rescue them. I'll have to cut them back in the fall and watch the area closer next year.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01129119492962711399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3552387675026716797.post-91094245026651417842012-07-30T06:03:21.739-05:002012-07-30T06:03:21.739-05:00Yep a trellis is your best bet...
