It just so happens that both of us share March as a birthday month (not to mention my Dad, and a best friend), so this month is usually a month of celebrations. This year though, we decided to scale back and not exchange gifts. I mean, why buy gifts when we are getting the ultimate gift, a new farmhouse and land in the country? Kind of hard to top that!
If we can close soon enough, we might just celebrate our birthdays out there! So we have no furniture, no stove, no refrigerator....I bet sandwiches and cake on the front porch would make for a birthday celebration we'd remember for years to come!
(And besides, there are two rocking chairs already on the porch, just ready and waiting to be enjoyed!)
