...we'll need to go with a more frugal approach, and I think we found it. I liked having the colored chairs, being different from the dark brown of the table. So we found a great, chocolate brown table (Ikea) and then we figured all we'd need to do is buy some unfinished chairs and paint and/or stain them black. The chair above was painted and looks awesome. Same look, but for a fraction of the cost.
We like the brown and black combination, as we have already have some accessories for the dining room that are black with brown accents. It should look very good when it's all done. Plus our dining room has lots of windows and natural light, just like in the top picture.

We are looking forward to the furniture buying phase of this project, that's for sure! And then comes decorating, setting up the table for dinner parties, food, drinks, and the fun of family and friends.
