| Vintage Home Canning and Drying Garden Poster |
This is really a nice poster. It's sponsored by the National War Garden Commission, which was different from the later Victory Garden campaign. This dates it from WWI (Victory Gardening came about in WWII).
I love that the main purpose of this campaign was to get people to not only canning the results of their gardens, but also drying them.
"Win the next war now!"
We could say that today, can your own, dry your own, grown your own, and win the war against chemicals and pesticides and preservatives in our food.
