Too funny....and maybe very relavent to my blogger friends who fight the battle of the bunnies all the time (bluestem?).
There are some out there at the farm, but I have yet to see them. 2nd Family's daughter tells me she has seen quite a few out there, so I suppose time will tell.
I just hope I'm not being too prophetic with our own gardens when we get them done, ha. We don't see them now, but if I build it, will they come???

Oh yes they will! They seem to think that gardens are a bunny's buffet. Better get or make some bunny spray once that garden is planted!

Ha, so true I imagine. What's that old phrase? It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt. Maybe we should change that to "it's all cute and fuzzy until something gets eaten!". Fencing is a post I was going to do this weekend, trying to decide on options/styles. But more on that in a post.
DeleteWe will have to start closing our gates again since spring is coming. Last year we managed to keep jack rabbits out of our garden and off our property, but with all the new fruit trees, I think hungry bunnies would love to come and gnaw on our the tender bark.

DeleteThey may be destructive, but then again if you can catch them they'll make a great stew. :) Free homestead meal...what could be better? LOL

DeleteIn the past we have had many rabbits in the yards. I've often thought about that now that there is vested interest in growing things....

DeleteI thought you might have been referring to me. Those wascally wabbits! They like to make burrows under my red yuccas and other bushy perennials. I have them isolated out of my backyard and veggies, but they always seem to find a way in when it is time to have babies and then I end up with around 5 of them hopping around and munching on the tender vegetation!
DeleteWhy is it that the cute ones are the ones that cause the most trouble? LOL! Good luck this season!!
