  1. Great minds, indeed! I hope all of our friends on the East Coast get a chance to do their civic duty. Bah, humbug to hurricane Sandy!

    1. Yes, bad hurricane Sandy! I hope it just blows and goes and doesn't leave any lasting effects.

Glad you and Mr. Granny did your civic duty! It's a great feeling isn't it??

    1. We're well away from Hurricane Sandy, so no worries for us, but our thoughts are with those on the East coast that might be impacted. I just love to early vote anyway, because you can relax and know that it's done.

  3. Yay for you! It is a great feeling isn't it? I was so excited to vote in 2008 and I'm just as excited this time around. I voted a couple of days ago. Go vote everyone.

    1. I've voted in every election since I was old enough to vote. It does feel good for sure! 2008 was an exciting year. I hope it is again.

  4. As an ExPat living overseas, we mailed our absentee ballots already, I'd like to say THANK YOU for voting. I hope we can continue the the policies of the last 4 years, it's been tough but I know it's going in the correct direction so now is not the time to rock the boat, hahaha.

    1. It's fun. I've voted in every Presidential election since I could vote. My candidate doesn't always win, but life goes on and I work harder the next time. I sure hope this election goes well! :-)

  6. We voted yesterday as well. It took us almost 4 hours start to finish! People were in a good mood the entire time. When we came out the line was even longer so you know those folks would be waiting an even longer time. We are in the path of Sandy here outside Baltimore, MD so I think everyone had the same idea: vote early. And I whole heartedly agree with Melina's comment above!

    1. FOUR hours? Wow!! We waited about 20 minutes so it wasn't bad. You're right though, people in line were very friendly. Ironically, we didn't really talk politics. Just bonded together doing our duty. It was very refreshing.

  9. I saw Obama speak four years ago and love how intelligent and calm he is. I'll be voting on the 6th if I have to swim to the damn ballot box. Hurricane Sandy is no match for this voter!
