INSPIRATION THURSDAY, COUNTRY HAMMOCK

Hammock in the country, image courtesy of Souther Living.
Does this even need an explanation??  LOL.  When I've daydreamed about having a rural property, I dreamed of lazy days in a hammock.

This picture appealed to me for that reason.  Of course, we won't have a stream running through it, ha, but I bet we could do something similar.  I guess the hardest part will be finding two trees properly spaced apart.

Hop you have a great day!

Be Inspired...

  1. We have a stream surrounded by some very old trees that would be great for a hammock. However to even get to the trees we'd be hacking our way through thick Gorse and past experience has told us to leave well alone.
I agree though, it's an idyllic image.
    Thanks for sharing

  4. 1st Man,

You could make yourself a little water garden with rocks, water and some plants then place you hammock next to the water garden. I've seen many beautiful rock gardens with a water source.

  5. I NEED a hammock. Really bad. But the thing is, when I do sit down outside, I see all the things I should be doing and can't sit for long. It's a curse!

I also wanted to tell you that you can put whatever you want to on your blog. Don't pay any attention to me at all. I get that way any time I see a snake unexpectedly. But really, this is your blog. I post pictures of goat rear ends all the time. And little baby feet and heads poking out too. Not pretty to some. People get sick of seeing that, I know. But that's what I do here. It's a farm. And farms have some strange things happening. I even posted about meat chickens being butchered. In a few days, I might even show some ram lambs being castrated. Ugh. So you go on ahead.

  6. One could always put a post in at one of the ends. Looks so comfortable.
