FINALLY SAW ONE AT THE FARM

Jackalope at the farm
This past Saturday when I was at the farm, I was able to finally spot one of these.  There were three actually, they are really cool to see hopping around and butting heads with each other.

It's called a Jackalope.

Too cool that we apparently have a whole herd of them at the farm, or at least a small family of them.

Hope you are enjoying this first day of April!

    1. I got an email from one of my regular farm related newsletters and they talked about a 6 foot chicken found in the amazon. Hilarious. That was my fave today.

  11. My father brought one of these home (stuffed and mounted) from one of his out of state hunting trips maybe 45 years ago...as a kid I was so impressed! I wonder which one of my brothers got that in the will?! Thanks for the lovely old memory.
