I found this picture online once and while it's not something we can do just now, it's definitely something that would be really nice. It's a cutting garden, laid out in rows like a vegetable garden might be done. Very neat way to do it. You can have rows of veggies, why not rows of flowers?
We have plenty of space to do this of course, but the watering, until we are out there regularly, wouldn't be easy for something like this. Until then, we can keep it here on the blog to remind us what we want to do.
Be inspired!
so pretty! i wish i had enough sunlight to do this.
ReplyDeleteSunlight is something we have lots of down here, ha. And along with it, the heat.
Delete1st Man,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, I think it you ran drip line the flowers would be okay whether your there or not.
So will you be doing this type of flower garden at the farm?
You know, I was kind of thinking about how these in rows might be easier to water on a soaker hose type system. Too late this season of course (too HOT, lol) but we'll see what we can come up with.
DeleteVery pretty! I can see why the picture has a table and chairs at the edge of it - perfect for a glass of wine in the evening while enjoying the peace and beauty!
ReplyDeleteOK, now this is funny, I didn't even see the table and chairs, ha. But yes, I love that to and it would be nice with a view and some wine. :-)
DeleteJust today, I was wishing I had a cutting garden. That one is very pretty.
ReplyDeleteCutting gardens are such a great idea aren't they? The simplicity of this one is kind of nice.
DeleteThanks for sharing! What a lovely garden it is! Might have to look at that in our side yard!
ReplyDeleteIt seems like a neat way to do it huh? And doesn't seem TOO difficult, ha.
