GOOD FOOD AND HOBART SUNDAY

DUE TO AN INTERNET CONNECTION ISSUE, THIS WILL HAVE TO STAY UP AS MONDAY'S POST TOO, SORRY ABOUT THAT.  MORE TOMORROW!

Cold today.  Well, cold for us.  Windy and just cold.  Low 30's with "feels like" in upper 20's.

TexMex comfort food

We stayed in town this weekend (see yesterday's post) and 2nd Man made a meal of tamales (made by a coworker) and then he made Mexican rice, refried beans and I whipped up some pico de gallo and served it over some sliced avocado.  TexMex comfort food!

Warm Hobart

It's cold outside and Hobart knows this.  So he is on the couch, on "his" fuzzy blanket and of course, we are required to cover him up because, well, #notspoiled.

Stay well fed and warm wherever you are!

    1. He probably was, I think they can sense when weather's changing. Tamales are a staple down here this time of year. So good.

  3. I wish I had someone to cover me up. It is 30s and damp here. I can feel it in my bones and I am in the house! Dinner looks good.

    1. Well stay warm and safe. Lots of blankets, wear wool socks and just keep things as warm as you can.

    1. Thanks, it was delicious for sure. Filling and comforting. We did like Hobart later in the day, napping with some blankets all warm and cozy.
