GOOD FOOD AND HOBART SUNDAY

Here we are, Sunday again.  Where DOES the week go?  Today is a gray and rainy day (woke up to some heavy storms rolling through).  As usual time for some good food and some Hobart.  First up, the good food.

Baked tortellini

This is a recipe we've made twice now and we LOVE it.  The recipe along with step by step photos will be coming this week in a post.  It's a baked tortellini casserole but we call it "easy lasagna" because it has all the flavors and texture of lasagna without all the work.  SO GOOD.  Plus, I made it so 2nd Man now has another dish I make that he can request, ha.

Hobart on the towels

I was doing laundry and put the towels on the floor next to the laundry basket while waiting to put them into the washer.  Hobart found them.  I folded them into a nice neat pallet so that he could take a nap.  Because...

Hobart sure knows where to find a cozy place for a nap.
I was sooo happy to get some rain - 1.3 inches. Hoping for some more on Tuesday.
I kept trying to use my Google account to comment but it wouldn’t let me. 🤷🏻‍♀️

    1. It's a google/blog thing. They are supposedly working on it. Just sign your user id at the end so we'll know its you. I think we're going to get some good rain tue/wed. It's a great recipe we found online a couple years ago but never got around to making it until recently.

  4. Hi from NC ... I too am looking forward to the recipe :) Cooking for one at the moment, so knowing the ingredients I can probably scale it down or up for my needs. I do have some 'fresh' Tortellini in the fridge when has been my name.

When we had a cat (large, fluffy and black like your Hobart) , she always sought out fresh laundry for her naps. So we had some older blankets that we rotated around the house and kept washed. She really seemed to like hunting out new napping spots.
