As this posts, we are both going to the farm for the first time in a month (!) to check on things. 2nd Family has been watering the porch plants and we've had plenty of rain for the yard/fruit trees.
I'm HOPING the grass isn't 3 feet tall. I doubt it is because we've had some 30's temps so it should be stunted for the Winter. Looking back through my mower app, at least as far back as it goes to 2017 when I got the app, I've never mowed before early March (unless it was to "clear dead brush").
Then we're stopping at the grocery store on the way back. More healthy food!
Got this get well card and thought it was so funny (especially if you've ever been around cats) and we should share the laugh!

ReplyDeleteAfter the summer drought, it’s so nice to get these rains. I had 2 inches with the first one and 1.5 with the next. My garden is thriving with these rains. I’m sure your fruit trees are happy also.
I know 2nd Man has been poring over his recipe books to cook up some tasty Heart-Healthy meals! It’s wonderful that you’re recovering so well.
The cat cartoon was so funny and sooo true. I don’t know what it is about things on tables but cats just Looove to knock things off them.

35 deg. here at the moment and good chance of strong winds, rain and much colder temperatures for Mon. and Tuesday (wind chill 19-20) and slight warm up for Wed. but down to 31 deg for evening.
