A HORSE IS A HORSE OF COURSE OF COURSE

This is 2nd Family's horse, grazing in the front pasture as we were pulling in. They move her back & forth from the front pasture to the back pasture as the grazing area changes.  We love when she's in the back because we can see her from the front windows and porch, and it's always nice to see livestock out your window, you know, instead of your neighbor's SUV, ha.

  1. What a lovely horse - is she mainly for riding or does she help out around the farm as well?

    1. Just for riding. She was a gift for their daughter a few years back. They had another one who just recently died, that horse was 31 years old. So now she's all alone but well loved and spoiled rotten, ha.

  2. I agree--so much better than an SUV. Also you inspired me to go into a huge antique mall this AM and I found a gorgeous tray to hang. Got it for a terrific price. It is a twin to one I bought over 10 years ago.

    2. Yep it was meant to be. Although we are trying to down size all the stuff we have, it was fun to go through the antique mall.

    1. Ha! I loved that show (not the first time around, lol, when I was younger they used to play it on Nick at Night). It was as funny as most anything I see on tv these days, ha.

  4. Nothing more stress relieving than looking out on a beautiful living creature living a good life. And leaving you something that will eventually end up in your compost pile and feed your veggies!
