Oh happy days, Shark Week is COMING!
For those who don't know, it's a week long series of shows about Great White Sharks that has become an annual tradition on the Discovery Channel. We enjoy the week, as the shows are fascinating and enjoyable.
And you have to watch this video, it's the commercial for Shark Week for those that don't have cable or maybe haven't seen it.
Be forewarned, it has a twist at the end but remember, it's not real.

I can take the snakes, spiders and mice...I'm just glad we don't have to worry about THESE when we go to the farm!
Speaking of, we will be out at the farm all day on Saturday. Had hoped to spend the night but we have plans early on Sunday in town so it will just be a day on the mower, edging, and doing small projects inside where it's cool.
For us, even one day at the farm is heaven, even in the heat.
The first time I saw that commercial I was shocked! I didn't realize it was all a farce until my husband, who had seen it in its entirety, told me it wasn't real. I still prefer the GEICO camel. He's so sweet, he wouldn't hurt a flea!

ReplyDeleteI'm so happy to read that you guys enjoy shark week too. I like to make something fishy for the first night. I have been looking forward to this all summer. I hope they have different footage than last year. BTW, I had to laugh when I saw that commercial last week!!
