COLD BOVINE DAYS

Off to the farm, it's cold this morning (40's), turning to cool later today (60's) and then colder tonight (30's).

I still have a bit of a cough so I don't think I'll be outside in the windy cold too long today.  But wow, is it ever gorgeous.  Not a cloud in the sky and everything is perfect.  This cow or bull (laying down, hard to tell, LOL), is just lounging around enjoying the weather as well.

Hope your weekend is off to a great start.  I know for some of you it's probably REALLY cold, there is snow in parts of the country.  And of course for those of you on the other side of the world, well, it's almost Summer, right?

  3. I was thrilled when I woke this morning and it was cool. Hoping the weather has finally changed. Now all we need is some rain and more rain.

    1. Cool weather does indeed make me feel better too. I love the feeling, just don't like the bone chilling cold. At least when I have things to do.

  4. 1st Man,

Looks like winter is here with the cold weather, and wind. Hopefully you won't have to pull out the tractor to cut the grass again this season. I cut the grass yesterday with the mulcher push mower, ended up doing to much and caused pain in my abdomen.
A hot toddy may help with that cough!!

    1. I don't think so, I probably COULD but I won't. We'll have a freeze soon enough and the grass will turn brown for Winter. I'm ok with that ha. Hope you feel better. You know I've never had a hot toddy, I might have to try that. I do like hot tea with honey when my cough is hanging around.

  5. It is cool enough here I need a sweater, no just toughing it in a short sleeve, which is what I have been doing. The wind is up and I have a terrific sinus headache above my eyebrows. I like watching cows.

  6. I love seeing cows "sunning" themselves on a cool, sunny day - just enjoying all the life around them.

Next week chance of thunderstorms and good chance of rain and we're still having to mow our yard.

    1. Snow/warm/snow/warm. It is nice, I agree, to have warm days and chilly nights. Perfect combination. I sleep so much better in the cold, it's nice to pile up the blankets and put on warm socks, ha.
