OK, this one just really goes without saying...it's pretty in every aspect. We call it a dream garden. What's not to love? Flowers. Windmills. Water tank ponds. Trees. Grass. More flowers.
We realize this is probably several years worth of work to get something looking like this but hey, every journey begins with a step, right?

We always admire beautiful gardens but sometimes we fail to see the years of planning and patiently waiting for plants to grow and spread, instant gardens are possible but there is certainly something to be said for cultivating our own dreams,,whats that saying? ReplyDeleteYep, we see these and fall in love but so often forget how much work it takes. But we like them to be our inspiration as a goal to work toward. I love your quote, it definitely is the journey that gives the joy. thanks!
DeleteI was inspired 10 year ago and made my own garden pond digging the soil, putting linen and water in it. It's a dream garden, yes, it is, but ...it need a lot of work every year in spring, summer and autumn to maintenance the pond water balance.

DeleteReminds me of a you tube video I saw of a guy who made an outdoor hot tub out of an old cast iron tub and a wood stove. All built in beautiful surroundings of course. I am definitely inspired!

For me; I'm not that much for ponds. Too much upkeep making sure pump is working at all times, no leaks in the liner, hoping any fish a person may have, don't die, etc. etc., etc. Flowers that come up every year...........Yes; ponds, No for me.
Baby steps for sure, ha. Ponds can be work, well, ARE work. Maybe we'll start small. I'll have to post a picture of 2nd Family's little water feature, so pretty and very small and they don't do much to it.
