Sure is giving you the 'look'. I think it was just Curious to see what all you where doing and maybe looking for a carrot or 2 from you so that it could have an extra snack. :}
Cows are really docile creatures. They would lick you all over if they could. When they begin to calve, all the momma's look after the littles. Bulls, stay clear unless they know you.
Many years ago I went to a county fair in Kansas with my sister's mother-in-law. We went to look at the livestock (I don't know why), and as we headed toward the cattle, a very angry cow started jumping and kicking. We went the other way. I guess she didn't want to be displayed.
I once had a calf named after me, I hope she turned into a gentle and generous sort of cow!!! Most cows look sulky but are sweet, actually. But goodness, those azaleas, is that really possible to have them grow like that?? If anyone can accomplish that, it will have to be you, 1st Man! I know my limits, settle with the croci and daffodils.
Here azaleas do pretty well. We'll see and I thank you for your confidence in me, ha. I'm clearing an area now that COULD become something like that with the azaleas. Fingers crossed. What a sweet thing to have a cow named after you. I do hear they are gentle souls.
Funny picture! She looks like a young cow, a heifer, so she is probably curious about everything in and around her pasture - including that 2-legged creature who shows up on the weekend and goes into a flurry of activity!
I think she wonders what you are doing. My friend's father was charged by a cow that broke is ribs, punctured his lungs, bruised his heart, did a lot of damage. He was in the hospital for six months, 10 days in icu in a coma. This was the most docile cow they had.

Looks like a Gentle Elsa to me. Can't keep calling her 'she cow' :}
DeleteI've been given "the look" before, ha. I need to remember to bring carrots for snacks. "Elsa" I like it!

ReplyDeleteAwww, I've always wondered, they do seem very curious too. Neighbors had a big honery bull once. He's elsewhere now, ha.
DeleteThat is funny!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it? I just laughed when I saw the pic after I took it.
