My Jeep has been perfect for everything I've used it for including carrying stuff to the farm, hauling mulch and soil and plants and trees and any number of things we needed.

I stopped at Home Depot a couple of weekends ago to pick up some things for the garden and I parked next to this truck.
My jeep never felt small until I saw this.
How big is TOO big? I think maybe this is, ha.
We would also be remiss if we didn't acknowledge that today is also Star Wars Day...yay!
Your jeep looks like a shrimp compared to that Big whale beside you. :}
ReplyDeleteLook at the size of them tires (not cheap but all means) but then again have seen them so large and the body of truck is so high up in the air that a person needs a step ladder in order to get inside. Really different headlights as well.
As long as your cute jeep serves your needs; that is all that matters but I must say that monster truck probably could haul your jeep as well. :}
DeleteIt kinda looked like I could just drive up in the back of it. It's funny, going from my little Fiat to the Jeep felt like a huge increase in size. Now I see how wrong I was ha. But it does serve my needs just fine.

ReplyDeleteMy boss has a Suburban as a spare vehicle (it's nickname is "the beast") and he LOVES it. He has a newer SUV, nice luxury brand, and says he'd rather have the suburban any day.

DeleteThat one looks decked out. The new Ford trucks are computers on wheels. I haven't even read all the things mine can do. It makes me smile when the steering wheel pulls back if I start to veer out of my lane. I couldn't do without a truck. My last three vehicles have been trucks.

ReplyDeleteIsn't it? I mean when I parked next to it I realized it was big but it was't until I was waking toward it and SAW how big it really was, ha. Naked? Huh? What? Who? ;-P
DeleteHow I would hate to be beside that monster in a parking lot, attempting to exit safely. And even worse to be sandwhiched between two of them. Definitely toooooo big.
ReplyDeleteYeah, thankfully I was the only one in the jeep so I had room on the drive side. It's big for sure. I can't even imagine how many MPG it gets (or how little, ha)

DeleteBack in the 60's a truck was the cheapest vehicle you could buy. Today, they're the most expensive and far to big!
ReplyDeleteYou are so right. I remember my Dad buying a Ford truck and it was way less expensive than my mom's station wagon. And yep, today they are many many thousands of dollars more than a "car".
DeleteI would take the truck over any 10 Jeeps any day. Not as practical as the Jeep maybe, but sometimes in your life, it is "go big, or go home". Have had a 4 wheel drive truck of some sort since I got my first DL in the 60"s. Don't see how anyone can live without a big 4WD truck.
