OFF TO THE FARM

I love this stylized image of a farm, if only it could be this colorful and orderly
At the risk of boring you silly, here it is, yet another day of cleaning up the house at the farm.  And once again, an early morning out there.  I could have spent the night (now that the beds are cleared) but I'd rather do that when the house is all in one piece so I can enjoy it.  Besides, there will be a LOT to do at the farm, mostly outside, in upcoming weeks and it would be better to use the house as a place of rest instead of working outside and then having to work inside too.  There will always be something to do inside, but I'd like to have all this major stuff done now.

Today's agenda is the dining room and the mudroom/pantry.  Before and after pics (of course) to come.

It's another day of beautiful weather, which is good because weather forecast shows very intense storms for the middle of the week.

Hmm, I'm already thinking of what 2nd Man is planning for dinner?

Hope your weekend is a good one!

No matter what 2nd man plans on cooking up for you, I'm sure it's going to look , smell good and taste delicious.
Enjoy this beautiful day even tho you are working inside.

Heard that we have rain moving in come next week and I still have lots to do outside yet between now and then.

  4. Your image looks Grant Wood ish. I'd like something similar done of our place. As you say, the only place it would appear tidy. It is a mud bath at our place but things are budding out which makes it bearable.

    1. I googled him and yeah it is isn't it? I got it on a free clipart site that I use. The budding plants are nice and "hopeful'. We'll be a mud pit soon here, ha. Lots of rain coming.
