Wow!
We are starting our first full new year in our new house.
We stayed up 'til midnight, had some sparking red wine and twelve grapes (one for each month of the new year, it's a lucky thing). The neighbors (well, somewhere down the road, ha) had a nice little fireworks show we could see from the porch. We heard some coyotes howling. Saw a couple rabbits hopping through the yard and ended it...
Looking at the constellation Orion. There is a full moon in two days but we could still see the stars to ID it.
Life is good out here on the farm.
We are thankful for all you coming along on this journey and here we are! This year is going to be full of epic new things to see and do out here where we now live!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Happy New Years to you all.
ReplyDeleteNeighbors all around was shooting off fireworks; starting at 4:00pm in afternoon and going into the wee hours this morning. Finally; around 3:30this morning was finally able to get a little sleep.
May your body stay strong, your mind stay calm, and your heart be full of peace.
Will be watching the parade later when it comes on. Watch for the Allen, Tx. High School; 3rd year for them marching in the Rose Bowl. The largest band in the nation with 600 band members along with the drill team.
Wishing everyone a safe and healthy New Year
A new home, a new year, a new beginning for all of us! ❤️
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, I wish you health, happiness and a great year to come. I had fireworks all around me until well after midnight. Some very pretty, some just loud. People spend a lot of money on fireworks; they are legal on three holidays in Florida but that does not stop people from shooting them off a lot in our area anytime.
