LOL! I understand. And you're sick on top of it. Feel better! I'm just sitting here counting down to this week's Walking Dead (currently, 1 hour and 55 mins away). The bright spot of my weekend will be a zombie horror show, HA!
Your Dr. Seuss comparison - love that - so clever! I'm sitting here eating the soup I made earlier in the day. Nothing warms up the house and my spirits better than a big pot of soup on the stove! It supposed to be in the 70's later on this week - yay!
Now and then, you need a couple of days off. I hope you found something relaxing to do with your time. Love the Dr. Seuss analogy. Soup is a great idea for those days.
I'm with those above, how neat for you to find that picture and use the quote. SO appropriate. We are cold here in Louisiana and wet and it's just miserable. But staying inside is not a bad thing sometimes.
We had some lovely rain on Saturday night which made it easier to dig the veggie garden & today I was able to plant my tomatoes, zucchini & Silverbeet. We are expecting hot weather again at the end of the week. Stay warm!

ReplyDeleteAmen, so so true. Thanks and as a matter of fact, we had chili. That was good too. ;-)

ReplyDeleteAw, thanks. I remembered it from my childhood, I knew there had to be a line I could use out there, ha. Staying inside is a good thing, we need it.
DeleteHey, I think mother nature has a way of telling us to stay inside and rest. Take her advice, bwahaha.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely true. And to top it off, I feel my nose getting stuffy. Ugh. Definitely staying inside and resting is a good thing.
DeleteCold here - really cold. It was -17 degrees last night. We have over a foot of snow. I don't even want to go outside!
ReplyDeleteMINUS 17? Like BELOW ZERO? Dang. I hate it in the upper 20's ha. Stay warm (and safe!)
DeleteLOL. Actually, quite cold here too which is lovely given we had 43 (109) the other day.
ReplyDelete109? Dang, I forget that it's Summer for you all. Winter for us (well, Fall, actually for us, ha).
DeleteNope! just the same here in the UK; everywhere is soggy.
ReplyDeleteI think the soggy/wet/damp thing is what makes it so unlikeable. Just want to stay in bed all day and sleep, ha.

Oh rain does make the ground lovely to work with doesn't it? Yay for your plants, hope you re get some nice returns! Thank you!!
Deletethat's how it is here today.
ReplyDeleteNice to stay inside and read a good book.
DeleteA cold wet weekend day in the country....that spells baking and reading and sitting by the fire. Couldn't get much better than that.
ReplyDeleteI like how you think! Baking and reading (alas we don't have a fire but i'd sit by one if we did, ha). Stay warm!!
