Yep, they were homemade biscuits. He's developed quite the "biscuit hand' as it's called, ha. This was just a simple quick breakfast before we went off on today's adventure. Thanks!
They look wonderful. My grandfather taught me how to make biscuits when i was about twelve. In high school I had a teacher propose on behalf of his son because they both loved homemade biscuits. Catherine in south MS

Thanks!!! They are from our downstairs grocery store and are handmade in the store. So I guess nothing that you can get elsewhere. We got one package of regular breakfast and one package of strawberry maple (sounds weird, tasted wonderful!).
If I could get a biscuit sandwich to you, I would! :-)
I am sure you know there are people who are paid big bucks to style food and your photos are every bit as good. I could just take a bite out of your food photos they are so mouth watering.
I just discovered your blog, and I liked it so much I went all the way back through your very first entries. You two gentleman are just my kind of folks. I started life (a long time ago) as a country girl, and I am here to tell you those are some fine looking biscuits. You have inspired me...right now I am only eating them with my eyes, but this weekend I am going to rattle some pots and pans and puts some biscuits and sausage on the table.
