OFF TO THE FARM TODAY

Feel like I might be getting sick, but I'm bulking up on Vitamin C, etc. Still have to go to the farm and check on things and water, etc.  Might not do too much, just come back and rest.

Here's a different angle of the barn and shed.  Thought it might be fun to take some pictures from different angles/directions.  This is from the wooded area that I cleared, looking back toward them.

Lots of potential there for future things, flowerbeds, planters, awnings, decor, etc.

We have a wet forecast coming this week.   And then cold.  Next weekend looks to be like it might be really nice and cool.

Hope you are having a good start to the weekend!  More later!

  2. Getting sick is no fun. I came down with the flu day after Thanksgiving and then following day after I came down with head and chest cold and still dealing with it. It just will not go away. Needless to say, I am getting tired of eating chicken noodle soup, chicken and rice soup and drinking hot chicken broth but then haven't had much of an appetite to eat much of anything else. Last day I was out of the house was Thanksgiving so getting cabin fever besides.
    Beautiful day here today.
    Enjoy your day

  3. I love that view, too. Our weather will be balmy in high 60s and low seventies with 40s and 50s at night. THEN, on Tuesday, our weather will be affected by the same front as yours, only our weather will not be so comfortable. I left the heat on a bit last night. The electric heater kept me just a tad too warm and I feel like I am getting sick, too. So, water, lots of Vit C, and otc meds for congestion in head and chest, plus Hall's Metholyptus is my day ahead.

    Here's hoping we shake this.

  4. Well My Weather in my Corner of this Earth is going to be getting Snow starting next Wednesday through Sunday...Its way too early for snow yet. It is not suppose to show up until January.

I hope you start to feel better soon...My dad always had us kids take Vitamin C so we would not get sick. It worked part of the time but other times it did not do the trick.

Love your Picture of the Barns and how green the ground looks...wow...I love that. That whole area is just beautiful.

    Hope you feel better soon...

    Take Care

  6. Heeheeheeheehee... cold. Well I guess that's acclimatization for you! We haven't seen 55* since September; we HAVE seen -18*C (zero*F), and this has been a MILD winter so far. It is not uncommon here (factoring windchill, & wind here is almost constant), to get down as far as (Button Up TwoMen!) -55* which is -67*F.

  7. Hope you get well soon. Try the juice of one lemon with a couple of teaspoons of honey added to a mug of warm water.
That is a pretty picture of the two barns with all that green on a sunny day.
The rain started this afternoon - our Fall gardens are going to be happy. I'm glad it held off until now - one of my organizations had a booth this weekend at the local Christmas Mall and I baked 10 cream cheese rolls.
