As this posts, I'm off to the farm, 2nd Man is staying in town and roasting turkeys, ha. More on how that goes later.
The weather is absolutely gorgeous. Cool, breezy, not a cloud in the sky. The only downside is 2nd Family said it is very wet at the farm. Almost 4 inches of rain this week and with the cool temps, no way for it to evaporate. We'll see.
Hope your weekend is off to a great start!
Have no idea how much rain we received here cause we had brought our rain gauge in so it wouldn't freeze and break but the ground is pretty wet and muddy and have water standing in some areas.
ReplyDeleteHave a fun day @ the farm and stay out of them water 'poodles'. :) and don't get stuck in them grassy areas like our neighbor had done. He had gotten stuck big time backing his travel trailer in it's spot.
I ALMOST got stuck last weekend (when you commented about this) but this weekend I was very careful, ha. 2nd Family's rain gauge has frozen a few times, we buy them a new one.
DeleteIt WAS an absolutely gorgeous day! And my husband and I each almost got our vehicles stuck in mud helping a friend move a bed. We have had enough rain for a while. By the way..I'm dying for you to post your mac and cheese recipe.
ReplyDeleteSorry for delay in replying to this. YES, mac and cheese recipe coming soon, we promise. I almost got stuck too, it's scary for a few moments.
DeleteIt was such a beautiful day! I spent as much time as possible outside to soak it all up. Hope your day at the Farm was great!
ReplyDeleteWe've had a few nice days lately haven't we??
