OK...so here we are, a cool (some dare say cold) Sunday...and what better way to spend the day than with Hobart...
...wrapped up in his favorite fuzzy blanket. He's on the chair in the dining room. We covered him up of course so he'd be nice and warm...
...and he's been asleep for hours like this. Snug as a bug in a rug! We keep telling you he's not spoiled. Nope. Not at all.
Hope you are having a good weekend, it's been unusually cool for us and of course rainy and yucky most of the weekend. More of an update tomorrow.
Hobart really looks comfy all curled up his blanket. He can take a nap for me as well. :} I could use one right about now.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are receiving the weather that we had last week; chilly & rainy.
We received just a little over 3 inches of rain last week.
Take care and enjoy the races.
It was a great napping weekend for sure. Yep, our weather was yucky. Today started a bit bleak but then ended up a clear nice day.
DeleteI just got up from a nap (legal drug-induced painkillers after friday's surgery). I could use a blankie like that. DEAR SWEET HOBART!
ReplyDeleteOh no I missed hearing about your surgery. We are wishing you well and a quick recovery. Hobart is a sweetie and he gives you big loud purrs!
DeleteAww, such a cute picture of your cuddly little boy, Hobart.
ReplyDeleteYes, it has been chilly this weekend. Yesterday was actually cold, especially with the wind blowing so hard.
He's been a sweetheart for sure. Wasn't it yucky all weekend? That wind was brutal. Now it seems we're back to normal, ha.
DeleteHobart looks especially nice with that blanket. It's cool and rainy here, too. Franklin doesn't mind, but Penelope becomes upset by bad weather.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Sorry about Penelope, just give her extra love. Hoping for good weather for you soon!!! Stay warm!
DeleteHow did you decide on the names Hobart and Sydney? I know those are cities in Australia.
ReplyDeleteWell Sydney was first, he was my kitty before 2nd Man and I met. I chose Sydney because I was (and have always) been fascinated by Australia. It's a bucket list place to see for sure. I just thought the name Sydney was cool. So that was in 1995. 2nd Man and I met in 1999 and so Sydney of course came with me as a package deal, ha. In 2001 we found our second kitty abandoned by his mother behind our garage. He was bottle fed. We decided to keep the Australia theme and so we named him Brisbane. Then we found the this one as a kitten stuck in a machine in front of a grocery store in 2006. At first we weren't sure if a boy or girl (he was fluffy and small, ha). If a girl she was going to be Adelaide (and call her Addie). Turned out it was a boy so we HAD to keep the Australia theme going. We looked at list of cities and it came down to Melbourne or Hobart. He just LOOKED like a Hobart. And that was it. Here he's been for almost 15 years now, ha.
