It's been a beautiful weekend. Perfect weather. Yesterday was a good day and today will be even better. As this posts, 2nd Man and I are off to the farm to check on things and run some errands.
Recently, we had this for dinner. Some skinless BBQ chicken legs, roasted in the oven, asparagus and then mustard potato salad that didn't use cream. We used mustard and greek yogurt for a true fat free side.
It was all low sodium of course and delicious as always!
Here is Hobart...we always like to see him like this. He lays there in the sun and may only be recharging, but we like to think he's deep in thought. Because...

Yum, that’s a delicious meal! I love mustard potato salad. Good idea to use Greek yogurt in it.
ReplyDeleteHobart taking in the ‘rays! Probably feels good on his older bones.
II used to be a mayo potato salad only person but 2nd Man has always preferred the mustard and I converted a few years ago (though I love ANY potato salad really, ha but with health issue at the forefront, mustard is fine).
DeleteYou know you're right he probably loves that warm feeling on his bones. :-)
Never heard of mustard potato salad. Hobart does look deep in thought.
ReplyDeleteI think it's more of a Southern thing, down here it's always the choice between mustard style and mayo style. I like them both but mustard (with a little greek yogurt to add the creaminess) is the better choice for me, ha. But I DO love a mayo based version. :-)
DeleteMustard potato salad is the best. Your meal looks really good. Hobart is the cutest.
ReplyDeleteHobart is contemplating the plans for Feline World Domination, of course!
