Another week has flown by and here were are, AUGUST is tomorrow? Where DOES the time go? Well, time for some yummy food and some funny Hobart!
2nd Man made this the other night. Chicken and mushroom fettuccine Alfredo. He makes a simple Alfredo sauce and adds cream of mushroom soup and some sautéed mushrooms. It was very good.
And here is Hobart acting silly. When I come home from work he wakes up from wherever he is and comes over to me and falls over on his side and expects a belly rub and a back rub with my foot after I take off my shoes. He loves it and we love him and so we indulge him because...

The pasta looks amazing, and Hobart is adorable as always. Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteIt was, and thank you, as always too!
DeleteWhat a good idea to add cream of mushroom to the Alfredo. Sweet little dog.

It makes for a nice chance. Not sure if you meant Hobart was acting like a dog (we sometimes call him "dog kitty" ha) but he's 100% feline, LOL!
DeleteNot silly. Smart and so cute. How long has he been doing this? He has you well-trained.
ReplyDeleteNot since the beginning but for the last few years he has been doing this. We kind of figured that as he gets older, it feels good on his body to have a nice back rub and a gentle belly rub.
DeleteHello, Happy Hobart.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
He said hi back to you! Or meow, not sure which. Ha. Thanks!!
DeleteThat meal does look delish!
ReplyDeleteHobart knows who loves him and so he bares his tummy for a rub! Don't tell him Cathy called him a little "dog!" Oh, the horror! LOL
LOL that made us laugh. We'll keep him in the dark about the dog comment, ha.
DeleteI can't believe it is August! I feel like I am just getting started with summer!
ReplyDeleteHobart is a smart fella!
Right? I swear the time is flying by this year. Hobart is smart for sure.
DeleteMmm, mushroom fettuccine Alfredo! It looks delicious.
ReplyDeleteHobart waiting for you to come home every day, waiting for his belly rubs – so sweet.
It's very good and a nice twist. 2nd Man said he is sleeping all day and then about 4pm he sleeps near the door. And sure enough, when I walk in he's there. He's a sweet kitty.
DeleteHello handsome Hobart—you very lucky (and of course very deserving😉) boy!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, he's special to us, we really are attached and he deserves all of it, ha.
