THE HOUSE IS GONE

We'll have another post soon with lots of pics before and after from various angles (including some unique shots!) but since many of you have asked how it went, we're keeping this first post quick and to the point, ha.

It's the end of an era for the little farmhouse.  It had a great run, but it was time to make our future dreams come true...

Here it is right after we bought it...

Here it is Wednesday morning...

Going...

Going...

Gone!

Instead of being sad, we're thinking of what will grow from this spot.  Just like planting a seed and waiting for a beautiful flower to bloom, we'll be waiting for our new home to rise up from this very spot.

The future awaits!

    1. It was cute for sure, in it's prime it was really neat but just so much in the last few years that needed to be fixed up. It was definitely time and yes, shocking to see. I told 2nd Man several times it looked like a tornado had gone through.

Utility room is tomorrow's tour, ha.

  4. A little bit of nostalgia is okay, but a whole lot of looking forward to a beautiful house rising on the spot is great. I cannot wait to see the replacement.

    1. Yes, we totally understand. It's been a great little house for a long time, and it lived a good long life. We tried to justify pouring money into it to get it fixed up so we could live there full time but it was just so much money that we decided would be better spend on brand new so we could truly get the house of our dreams. So yep, bigger and better for sure, coming soon!
