I love an audience, and every time I'm out at the farm, 2nd Family's animals come to visit. Usually it's one of the dogs but the other day it was their horse, "Artax" that came to say hello. Of course, I think the fact that I usually have apples with me was a factor.
Then I looked in the green grass and saw their sweet black and white kitty "Neo". He rarely comes up to visit but I was happy to see him. I told him he's welcome to hang around and enjoy an all he can eat mouse buffet, so hopefully he'll do that.
I am so jealous of your green, green grass ..... enjoy it and your visitors.
ReplyDeleteIt's green green green everywhere here. I am actually longing for some color. I've focused on the fruit trees and the garden and the fence, I haven't added any flowering bushes or flowers or color. I need to start on that soon. ;-)
DeleteBoth are adorable but Artax is gorgeous. Artax, is that the name of the horse from Neverending story? Should I even admit to watching (and loving) that film lol.

Thanks (on their behalf, lol). Why yes, that is where they got the name. Yep, I think I a lot of us will quietly admit to loving that movie. Don't be worried, it's ok! ;-)
Deleteare you sure it wasn't the tuna in your pocket that attracted neo?
ReplyDeleteHa, if only it could have been mice following me.
DeleteKitty pets come to visit me, however, I usually find them out in the pen with the hens. I guess they are lost. I know the dog pet comes to see me because he chases the hens out of the yard so we can have alone time.
ReplyDeleteI bet cats in the henhouse is a not always a good thing? I like that the dog gives you alone time. Too funny!
DeleteI love your countryside, are you in the hill country area?
ReplyDeleteSadly no (the hill country is amazingly beautiful). We're west of Houston, between Houston and San Antonio. Flat and boring but amazingly green, ha.
DeleteSigh. Your place seems like heaven to me. (Except for the mousies! and the snakes...) All the beautiful greenery, open spaces, big sky, fruit trees, and animal friends visiting, too! What could be nicer than this? Enjoy!
