THE BLOOD MOON

Picture via a relative that lives a bit Northwest of us.  They were free of the clouds we had all over our area that prevented us from seeing it.  Well, we did catch a glimpse of it behind the clouds, a sort of reddish glow.

Blood Moon
Of course most all the pictures I've seen this week look pretty much the same, ha.  Is it Mars?  Or the moon?  It's the moon of course.  Very pretty!  Astronomy stuff is so awesome.

Did you get to see it?

Didn't see much of it here due to cloud cover.

Too cloudy here but I'll take the rain over a moon any day. My garden was thirsty and in need of everything Joaquin has brought us!

Unfortunately, the cloud cover was too thick for me also. So I’m enjoying seeing all the pictures that others took.

That's too bad, same here. Boo. :-(

Seems like that in many places. Darn.

I'm glad you got rain, hope Joaquin (the bad part) stays far far away!

There was a break in the clouds just in time for the eclipse, then boom! The opening was gone and so was all the moon view. Oh well, at least I have enjoyed all the pictures of it.

It seemed like that was like that all over the place. A rare event so many didn't get to see...

Cloud cover here meant we didn't see even a hint of it. I have loved the photos though.

Almost like it didn't want to be seen huh? The pics have been great though...

Luckily we had a clear evening with a nice view from the front porch. I love having a home that faces East.

Hello and welcome!!! Wow you got to see it, yay!! Our porch faces South at the farm, dang it, but there is so much space around we can just move some chairs around, ha. Thanks for stopping by!!
