Took this picture last weekend, just a half mile down the road from the farm...

Texas wildflowers The picture doesn't do it justice but we're still happy with how it came out (as always, click to enlarge). It's just so pretty and calming. Texas wildflower season is indeed a thing of beauty, a sea of color everywhere. Bluebonnets are the state flower of course but all the wildflowers are just so stunning. |
We are going to a home show this weekend to check out some things we are considering and when we're done, we're going to head around the area and see if we can find some more great shots.
Happy Friday!
What a lovely photo
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
You both have a wonderful day
so pretty! isn't this thanks to lady bird johnson? i know she had many many wildflowers planted all across the usa.
ReplyDeleteThat wildflower picture is gorgeous! It looks like a beautiful painting, worthy of being framed.
ReplyDeleteYour wildflower picture trip sounds wonderful!
With all your lovely photos that you take; you should have a calendar made.
ReplyDeletePhoto shown above would be pretty mounted on canvas or like Texas Rose suggest by having it frame; frame made with some old rustic barn, fence wood. Would make for a lovely wall hanging in any room of the house.
Have an enjoyable day
