How does the time go so fast?
It's been a good weekend and oh yeah, speaking of time flying by, a few days ago was our anniversary!
TWENTY SIX YEARS!
We splurged and went a little decadent but used as many healthy ingredients as we could. These are turkey meatballs, 2nd Man made his own homemade low sodium pasta sauce, whole wheat bread toasted with a a little heart healthy butter and olive oil with garlic and parsley. It was so good!
A little portion control by buying only two cupcakes to celebrate. No need to make a cake or two dozen cupcakes, just buy two good ones and enjoy them.

Congratulations on your anniversary! Life is a little sweeter when shared with someone. Oh my gosh-dear old Hobart almost 20!!! He can’t be around too much longer, but his longevity is is surely a testament to your love and good care.❤️
ReplyDeleteCongrats to you both! You will be celebrating 🍾 so many more anniversaries in your new home! Did you split the cupcakes so you each got half?
ReplyDeleteA pat on the head for fluffball Hobart!
Congratulations with sincere wishes for many more years of being together. Hobart is remarkable, since sixteen years is the usual life span for cats. Roderick
ReplyDeleteHello...Just want to drop in to offer "Greatest good wishes and congratulations on your Anniversary"! I have followed your journey blog for 20 yrs. now and it's so exciting to watch your new farm home come to life. I'm a retired RN *ok, I'm 81..I live in Illinois and my best friend from 7th grade lives in Fort Worth, so I'm "kinda" a Texas person. And I love Hobart!! I grew up on a farm so my heart always goes there. Love watching how your plans are all coming together! Thanks for blogging, I so enjoy following along! Blessing to you both and please, give Hobart a "pet, pet, pet" from me.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! Love your blog so much and learning about the new farmhouse and dear boy Hobart always a cheerful, uplifting read. ♥️

Is Hobart getting gray? Or is that shine? He is lucky to have you two caring for him. I would get one hershey bar or one brownie from the bakery to have a treat. practical parsimony. Congrats!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! I've been following you for over 10 years (I think!) and am enjoying following your journey from city to country.
