GARDENING IS AWESOME, FRIDAY FUNNY

This was almost a water out of the nose moment when I saw it.  Truer words were never spoken.  Just TOO funny!  I suppose to an outsider, this might be something they are thinking.  You PAID money for WHAT?

    I think it is REALLY REALLY funny 'cause on our little farm we GIVE away the organic poop as we have plenty and like to share. But people still like their poop in nice little bags...

      I hear ya! I asked someone at work that had a relative with a ranch (this was a few years ago) if they could get me a bag of poop and they looked at me like I was crazy. After I explained, they said they'd ask and sure enough, I got some! It was great in my city garden that season. Hope to get some later when I need it from some neighbors out where the farm is.

    I worked at a stable in the past and remember folks coming in the Spring to fill up large plastic bags with horse shit. Those practical Swedes.

    Yes, it is funny when one thinks about it.

    CUTE! We used to have cows right across the street so had access to free fertilizer, but they are gone now.

    Check out pallet gardening. I think you might find it interesting and possibly inspirational.

    BTW - Getting ready to book my ticket to Houston. First time in almost 8 years!!

      I know! I loved it when I saw it. Pallet gardening! Another blog I visit has some painted up all cute and I was going to research that. A great way to recycle! thanks for the info, I'll check it out!!

      Yay!! When are you coming? How long? Etc? Keep me posted! We'll have to meet for dinner and you'll of course have to come to the farm (yikes I better get busy on the yard, ha!)

    SO TRUE! Reality hit me when we bought our bags a month ago and took them out the the parking lot--I just stood there for about five minutes, psyching myself up to toss bags of poop in our trunk. Oi.

      LOL! I never thought about that part of it too. We're taking our nice cars and then throwing poop in the back end, ha!! Too true!!!
