VINTAGE POSTER SUNDAY, SHOOT TO KILL VICTORY GARDEN

Vintage Victory Garden Poster
A cute poster this week, this was was a not so subtle reminder to "Protect Your Victory Garden" with a gardener "Shooting to Kill" a grasshopper on her tomato. I'm pretty sure we can all say "been there, done that", these days, ha.

    I can't help feeling sorry for the grasshopper, she was having such a nice time.

      Ha, never thought about that but your post made me laugh out loud! Well it was the 1940's, it was probably a combination of DDT, asbestos, and radiation, LOL!

    I love the poster! Yes, I have been there with pests of all types (last year it was nutty squirrels)! Thanks for the bit of nostalgia.
