VINTAGE POSTER SUNDAY, SHOOT TO KILL VICTORY GARDEN

Vintage Victory Garden Poster
A cute poster this week, this was was a not so subtle reminder to "Protect Your Victory Garden" with a gardener "Shooting to Kill" a grasshopper on her tomato. I'm pretty sure we can all say "been there, done that", these days, ha.

    1. Ha, never thought about that but your post made me laugh out loud! Well it was the 1940's, it was probably a combination of DDT, asbestos, and radiation, LOL!

  4. I love the poster! Yes, I have been there with pests of all types (last year it was nutty squirrels)! Thanks for the bit of nostalgia.
