Well, the day started out like this...
Rain clouds |
But ended up like this!
Blue sky |
It was a nice day after all. Of course, it didn't clear up until about 1pm. So that didn't leave much time for my "to do' list. I did get some zen machine time in, with two weeks of rain and no mowing, it was getting to be a bit out of control and I wasn't expecting that. So that's not even really somethign I had We did do some other things, I'll share in upcoming posts.
After a cruddy start to the day, it ended up OK.
Hope you had a great weekend!
I had 2 great play-days in a row this weekend. Weather is iffy here...never went above 65 today and looked like your top pic and then later like your bottom one. Might rain tonight, but temps are in the 40s til morning...Glad you had a grand day !!!
ReplyDeleteAren't those days wonderful? It was half a grand day here anyway, ha. Hot again tomorrow, ugh.
Delete1st Man,
ReplyDeleteWoooohooo, you got out your zen machine too!!!
Oh yes, that was an unexpectedly pleasure. Of course, my gas can was empty and the tank on the zen machine wasn't completely full so I didn't mow everything but most of it, and all of it around the house so that's the most important part.
DeleteThe top picture is beautiful, but foreboding. After my nonexistent rain last night, the rest of the week is supposed to be sunny. I am hoping for a week of days like the bottom picture.
ReplyDeleteI love dark clouds, not the bad stuff that often comes with it of course, but they do have a beauty. But I'd take a week of the blue any time, ha.
DeleteWe're expecting the opposite today. We are parched here and are looking forward to a day of heavy rain from Tropical Storm Karen. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteParched? Dang, hope you get the rain. Karen was a bust for a lot of people but hopefully the rain got your way!
DeleteStill raining off and on here, and another T-storm day and night predicted. I was lucky to get the goats fed during an interlude around 7 am...now they're back under shelter. As am I. Of course, there's plenty I could be doing in the house. In the damp, chilly house...goodness, the gloom is infiltrating my spirits!
ReplyDeleteGloom??? No time for gloom!! Pic up some garden books or seed catalogs, those always lift my spirits, ha. Stay warm and dry (and gloom-free).
DeleteWe did have a great weekend, and reading this has reminded me that I want to get some mowing in here, too!
ReplyDeleteHope you get some mowing done. It's one of those tasks that's easy to put off huh? Ha. Hope you have great weather!
