Watched the NBC special last night...sigh...such incredible talent...
I swear, when I hear any of her songs, I will just stop and listen. She mesmerizes me for some reason.
Do you all have a favorite performer that just makes your world stop so you can listen to them?
God she is SO amazingly talented isn't she? Watching it too. Love that you posted this.
ReplyDeleteShe is wonderful for sure. Cool that we were watching at the same time. I was watching and realized that I had to post something, she is just so good.
DeleteI love her too. She had the most amazing voice but most of all she is so down to earth. Have you seen the thing that Graham Norton set with her? They change her look and send off to an 'Adele' singing audition along with a bunch of other 'Adele' singers. It's both hilarious and lovely. You can google it!
ReplyDeleteYES, she is SO down to Earth, even on this special they aired, her interaction with the audience was hilarious. She finished singing one song, it was incredible, and then she looks at the audience and said "the album version is much better". HA! She seems very grounded and not a "celebrity" even though she is arguably one of the biggest celebrities in the world.
DeleteI have not seen that but it sounds awesome I will have to look for that, thanks!
The recent program Adele at the BBC was incredible. If you haven't seen it, you must. Entertaining and so funny too.
ReplyDeleteI will DEFINITELY look for that, thank you. And yes, she's so funny when she goes 'off topic', ha.
DeleteRod Stewart is incredible, especially American Songbook, particularly the first one. And, he looks great in a tux.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, he is!! I enjoy his songs, so many classics!! And he can sing just as good today as years ago.
DeleteOh, I missed that! :(
ReplyDeleteBut I looked it up and it will be repeated on Dec. 23 at 8:00 pm on KPRC in Houston. :)
I just love Adele - she is amazing!
Yay, thanks for letting us know that. I am going to watch it again, ha. She is truly amazing.
DeleteShe is so talented, a joy to listen to, such a powerful voice, I like K D Lang too, she has a lovely voice and really puts her heart into her singing.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, LOVE KD Lang, totally agree on that one. Her album "Ingenue" is one of my all time faves, it is on my iPod in rotation!!!
Delete1st Man,
ReplyDeleteI was able to see her in concert in NYC briefly on TV. When Adele sings everyone listens :-) I feel the same way with Carrie Underwood, especially when she sings "How Great Thou Art".
I haven't seen Adele but it's on my DVR. Now if I could just slow down long enough to watch it. I've also got three years of Castle to watch, 2 years of Elementary and goodness knows how many seasons of Dancing with the Stars to watch! Josh Groban is who I will stop and listen to or Transyberian Orchestra, they are all amazing peple.
ReplyDeleteI love Adele & she is coming to Phoenix. It was a fabulous show and she is so humble about all of her fans. She was literally crying going up in that elevator.
