"J" from 2nd Family sent us this picture. She said she laughed because there was a third duck here but he moved before she could get a picture.
So she snapped this one and sent it to us.
She said she thought this was the best she could do to get all her ducks in a row...LOL!!!
...and that reminded me of this.
Sometimes, this is so true...
Those are Muscovy ducks and a very friendly breed. Unlike the earthbound (too heavy) Pekin ducks, they fly around the yard. It is funny watching them go by the windows. Good little farm critters to have. Hope you have a good weekend to farm.
ReplyDeleteThanks for that!!! She said they do fly around all the time but always come home to the yard.
DeleteI cannot even find my ducks, so I doubt they are in a row!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Too funny!!!
DeleteHappy St. Paddy's Day to you!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Thank you same to you!!
DeleteHey 1st Man :)) Happy St-Patty's day! :) I hope there is a little Irish Coffee in your plans today, there are in ours! I read your post about the bees and your decision not to keep them this year. I think that's really smart because sometimes we need to be prepared to be more successful and not overwhelm ourselves. When you think of it, it's just a small detour along the path :) The ducks are wonderful! I believe I have mine all in a row :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for that! Overwhelm ourselves, very easy to do isn't it? I like the way you describe it, just a small detour. Thanks!!!
DeleteLove the ducks. And none of mine are in a row. Ever.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend.
Ha, I hear ya! You too!!!
Deletequack! reminds me of a marx brothers line:

I love it!!! Thanks!!!
DeleteHa, ha!! I love that thought that at least you have all your ducks in one pond, if not in a row!
ReplyDeleteCute picture of 2nd Family’s ducks.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Have a great weekend!
Thanks, hey we have to do what we can do, right? Hope you had a great weekend!
DeleteBeautiful photo of 2nd family's quackers.
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely farm ducks. Maybe someday we will get to see that 3rd, shy duck.
The cartoon photo of the baby ducklings....adorable and reminds me of the water duck game where the rubber duckies are numbered on the bottom and you choose a duck to see what prize you have one.
Hope you had a great day and may you have an enjoyable weekend....you as well 2nd man
Thank you for the sweet words!! There used to be a contest here in Houston where they released a bunch of rubber ducks in the bayou and you "bought one" as a raffle and there were prizes for ones that crossed the 'finish line' first, second, third, etc.
