HAPPY HORSE FRIDAY

Here is Artax, 2nd Family's horse, standing in her pasture.  I was pulling in the driveway and the sun was shining on her little patch of grass, some yellow wildflower ground-cover to stand on, and she looked as happy as could be.  Of course I had to have a picture so I parked the car on the road, jumped out and took a picture.

We are in for a big change in the the weather. Winter is coming (for us anyway, ha).  More on that later.

  1. What a Beautiful photo and such a lovely pose she is giving you. Picture perfect.
It's 44 deg. here and wind blowing which makes it feel all that much colder.
Hubby did cover up our water faucet last night just in case it got down to freezing like they predicted.
Guess it's time to dig out the insulated under ware and winter coats.
A friend of mine in Iowa mentioned that she and her husband went for their 5 mile walk and it was 22 deg. there yesterday

  2. She is such a beauty! And you caught her at the perfect moment. You need to frame this and give it to 2nd Family.

  3. I think mother nature really out did herself when she made horses!
