This is 2nd Man everyone.
I’m not very good at this blogging so I won’t include pictures or anything but I just need to let you all know that 1st Man Suffered two heart attacks earlier this morning. We called 911 they got him to the hospital. They were able to go in quickly and put two stents in his arteries in his heartt.
And they saved him!
He’ll be in the hospital for at least a couple of days and then home for a few days to rest and recover. I’m sure he’ll post all about his, terrible no good adventures that day ha ha. But as the doctor told me this morning, if he hadn’t woken up and told me to call 911,he probably wouldn’t have been here in the morning.
Send lots of love and prayers and light to us as we navigate this newest unexpected event.
Thinking of you both π¨❤️π¨
ReplyDeleteOMG ... That just gave me goosebumps! I shall look for whatever updates #1 can give us or whatever you, as 2nd in command can give us!
ReplyDeleteHeart attacks ... holy cow! ❤️Love and hugs to you both!
Oh no, oh no! Such a scary thing to have happen and such a relief that it turned out the way it did. Praying for a quick and full recovery.
ReplyDeleteMedical science can work miracles, so don’t lose hope. Best wishes to you both.
ReplyDeleteSo glad he is doing good and will be home soon. Prayers for both of you.
ReplyDeleteWow! It's sure a good thing that he woke up and you called 911 in time. Sending lots of love and light and of course, prayers. Stents save lives. My husband got 3 of them in 2003 and is still going strong with no new heart trouble and he's verging on 79 years old. Modern medicine is a miracle. He'll be ready for some of your good food when he gets home, I'm sure. Thanks for letting us know. I'm a firm believer that prayers multiplied are prayers magnified.
ReplyDeleteSo Sorry this has happened, but like others above have mentioned, so glad he woke up and told you to call 911!!! Yikes!!!! Holy Cow and all those things!!!! Best of luck for good health .. and you take care of you too, as he will need your help ...even to just keep him under control!!! from our house to yours ... Bob & Clif
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear this! Sending lots of positive thoughts your way! First man has to recover quickly—Hobart requires two caretakers to have his needs adequately metπ
ReplyDeleteI was upset when I saw the title because I knew it was bad. Thankfully he awoke and you called 911. All this probably means a change in eating/cooking which I am quite sure you can arrange. ha ha
ReplyDeleteWe will be thinking of both of you. Take care of yourself, too.
Lots of thoughts and prayers for 1st man with a quick recovery. Take care of our friend.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness you were there!! All the best for a speedy recovery, and you take care too!
ReplyDeleteOh goodness, I sure hate to hear this, but I’m so glad his prognosis is good! I had a heart attack two years ago, so I can understand how scary that is. So glad he woke up and you were able to get him help quickly. Sending prayers!
ReplyDeleteI am sending oceans of caring and good wishes to both of you.
ReplyDeleteWhen you see him again give him a great big loving hug from all his readers. That was a close call.
ReplyDeleteWow...life comes at us fast, doesn't it? So, glad First Man recognized what was happening and didn't ignore symptoms. Thank God for modern medicine! The same thing happened to my husband in 2009, and here he is today ornery as ever and still giving me a hard time, passing medical tests with flying colors. My family sends our love and prayers to First Man, and to you too Second Man. He'll be home for Christmas!
ReplyDeleteOoh dear, what an unexpected shock !
ReplyDeleteSending healing thoughts and prayers your way.

ReplyDeletei don't know why my comment posted as anonymous but it's from octoberfarm. i know how busy you are with all of this but if you can post and update when you have time i think we will all appreciate hearing how 1st man is doing. i am so worried!
ReplyDeleteIt must have been frightening. Hugs and love to you both. You get signed up for all sorts of heart healthy rehab after a heart attack. I expect 1st man will feel like a new man in a couple of months. 2nd man give yourself time to unwind too, it is emotionally draining to watch a loved one face an emergency.
