The farm is somewhere in the middle of this monsoon like mess. And to top it off, it is now in the low 40's. The farm will dip into the upper 30's. No freeze thankfully, for us anyway, but dang, this is a record breaking low temperature for our area this time of year. Brrr! Stay warm and dry wherever you are!
It may break a record low here on Wednesday night. We had rain for two days after 80 temp, now 44 and going lower. 52 tomorrow. yikes.
ReplyDeleteWe're breaking record lows here too. Isn't it crazy? Stay warm (and dry!)
Deleteglad you aren't getting a freeze! i have everything inside or covered!
ReplyDeleteIt's the middle of April, this is just so crazy this year. I know you are dying to get out and garden.
DeleteIt's snowing here...will it never end?

SNOW?? Bless your heart!! Stay warm!!! Spring is coming, I promise!
DeleteWe had 70's yesterday and 20's today. Our little plum tree was fully bloomed out. My husband covered it with sheets but I don't know if it will do anything to save it. Darn weather!
ReplyDelete20's!!! Wow! This is an odd year. I hope your plum makes it. That reminds me, we lost our plum in the Summer (I THINK it was the ground, too much clay in that spot). I need to get another. Stay warm!!!
DeleteI am located in Silicon Valley still praying for rain! Forty days, forty nights would be nice. Instead prepping for water rationing and finalizing xeriscape yard designs.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry for all of y'all. Watched a special the other night on the California drought it's just so sad for everyone. We had a severe drought in 2011, only now coming back from it. Will hope for rain for you all!!
