MERRY CHRISTMAS 2018

From both of us to all of you, we wish you a Merry Christmas.  The best gift we have is all of you and we thank you for coming on this journey with us.

Thank you for the great ideas along the way and the validation of things we do.  Also, thank you for kind words of support you have when things don't always work out like we hoped.

Hope you all have a peaceful and fulfilling holiday.

    1. Thank you so much! We have a post way back about the name but here it is in a nutshell. When we bought it, we had a contractor come give us an estimate to just fix up the house a bit. He called back and left us a message on voicemail. "I can do it but I'm just telling you ahead of time, I can't make a silk purse out of a pigs ear". Needless to say, he didn't get the job. But when we were thinking of names we remembered that. I told 2nd Man we were going to prove him wrong and make that purse out of the pigs ear. We chose Spanish because it's so ubiquitous in Texas. Seda/Silk and Bolsa/Bag (closest Spanish word to purse). The correct grammatical use would be "Bolsa de Seda" but we liked the way the simple "Seda Bolsa" sounded, it sounded like some place exotic. So Seda Bolsa Farm was born. :-)
