HALLOWEEN TABLE, INSPIRATION THURSDAY

Halloween table decor, image courtesy of Southernliving.com
Since Halloween is coming, we've been looking at decorating ideas for future parties.  Of course, since the farmhouse currently has all the stuff from in town that we wanted to take out there in preparation for moving to the apartment, there won't be a party this time around.  But hey, it never hurts to get ideas and this is a fun one.  We like this set up as a buffet type table.  It's amazing how some simple things can really add up together.  Here, black accessories, the torn up gauze, a large spider, etc, it all really comes together for a sufficiently Halloween tablescape.

Be inspired!

  1. It appears as though someone used a can of spray paint for the black objects. Very effective and affordable.

    1. Lovely set up which could be turned into Fall or Halloween like what is shown.
I really don't get into decorating for Halloween but do put out a few things for Fall.
Just noticed; in that hurricane vase/container that the black flowers are in; I have that same black and white wrapping paper. I used the same paper for backing on my kitchen framed shelf unit.

    2. Linda, that's a great observation. You can do so much with a simple can of paint huh? I'll have to remember that. Thanks!!

    3. Colleen - It could be a great Fall setup, you're right!! We have only decorated when we knew people were coming over. But it would be fun to have a big halloween themed dinner.

That paper is pretty! And I love how they used it inside that vase. Great idea too.

  2. What a fun idea! Generally, I go all out for Halloween but not so much this year. I'll have to make up for it next!

  4. Love that look! I believe there is no such thing as overdoing. In fact I have a friend who taught me to decide how many of whatever I thought I needed, double the total and add either 3 or 5. So fat it has worked every time I have done a table scape
