Every Thursday, we like to post a picture of something we've found online that inspires us to do something similar at the farm.
Sort of our own blog bulletin board so that we can eventually look back and hopefully recreate it...enjoy!

OK...so you know we have an interest in creating some outdoor space to eat. With 11 acres, we certainly could find a space big enough for this but of course, it might be a bit pie in the sky. Still, as any inspiration does (and rightfully should), it doesn't have to be an exact copy, it only has to inspire something like it. It could be smaller, have fewer lights, etc. But still, we love love this amazing dining area. Can you imagine a more magical space for a dinner party? Special occasion? An evening Thanksgiving dinner?
Be inspired!
This is so gorgeous! I love the little butterflies fluttering around. I can definitely see a version of this with your "Party Tree" at the farm.
ReplyDeleteIt would be pretty....a few times a year ha.
DeleteWow! That is amazing!
ReplyDeleteBetter add bug spray to the list cause those lights are going to be a magnet.
DeleteLOL, so very very true. Bug zappers for everyone! ha
DeleteLiving in South Mississippi, that's the FIRST thing I thought of - how much those lights would attract bugs LOL! But yes, it's very beautiful!
Deletei love this!
ReplyDeleteI could totally see that in your lower gardens! :-)
DeleteYes magical until the mosquitoes come calling?
ReplyDeleteSo true!
DeleteYup. All you need to do is build yourself a nice Pergola and have a very nice outdoor setting. :}

Colleen the master googler finds great links again! Thank you so much!!! Off to visit them all....
DeleteOh wow, it looks like fairyland, how much fun would that be !
ReplyDeleteMy daughter has 6 strings of tiny battery operated fairy lights to decorate with for parties etc. but they also were very useful to drape from the ceiling fans in a power outage....very pretty and we coiled some in a large jar for a light source while we finished cooking (gas) dinner.
The little boys thought it was a fairy party, so dinner was a picnic on the living room floor....take your fun where you find it !
I love that story!! Thank you for that. I bet the kids loved it....and coiled up in a jar would be very pretty.
DeleteWow.
ReplyDeleteWith bug spray (and much smaller) it would be a slice of heaven. That sort of magic would be best with just a few (or possibly one) other people.
True, very very true!! :-)
DeleteOh my goodness, that is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it? I saw it and thought "I would love just one dinner in a setting like that", ha.
DeleteAbsolutely amazing.
ReplyDeleteSome people have too much time on their hands don't they? LOL!
