So the other day, we walked into the bedroom and saw this amazing light show on the wall on top of a bookcase:
It was truly mesmerizing!
What happened is that we had moved some things around and put this blue carnival glass bowl on top of the shelf next to a blue glass vase. In doing that, the light from the nearby window, at the same time every day, comes in, hits the carnival glass bowl, bounces up and into the vase and then light just sort of radiates out of the top...like blue and green smoke.
Too cool!
Whoa...too cool is right!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it neat? Love it. I look forward to it everyday now, ha.
Deletewow...cool. never move them!

DeleteAmazing.
ReplyDeleteThanks, love accidental beauty like this.
DeleteTrippy like in the original Star Trek kind of way. It does look like blue smoke. Far out! Waite around, maybe a genie will pop out of the vase.
ReplyDeleteOMG, in the back corner of my mind, I thought about classic Trek for some reason. Too funny!!!! And I dream of jeannie came to mind too. :-)
DeleteThat is indeed very cool, my todler used to stand on a chair and move her hands around in the sink of soap bubbles , to watch the sunlight from the kitchen window hit the bubbles and make "fairies" dance on the wall, very entertaining for a little person.
ReplyDeleteHope you guys have a lovely weekend.
