CLEAR SKY AND BISCUIT BREAKFAST

It was a beautiful Saturday.  Clear skies, cool and breezy.  Today has been more overcast and there is a a chance of rain.  Glad I got everything done yesterday that I needed to do.

More of an update tomorrow, but just wanted to check and say hello.

When I got up today, 2nd Man had made a pan of homemade biscuits...

...and served it up with butter and preserves.

The breakfast of champions, ha!

Hope you are having a great weekend!

    1. It was good. Nothing like biscuits hot out of the oven on a cold morning.

  3. I'm with Anne Marie, Bonne Maman is THE BOMB. It's the closest to homemade I've ever had. Lucky guys to have homemade biscuits with that.

  5. Yummy. Aussies, the English and Kiwis (from NZ) call them scones and have them for morning tea with whipped cream ( NOT the stuff from a can !) or better still delightful stuff called clotted cream in the UK. We are same but different. Merry Christmas !

  7. Beautiful clear blue skies.
    Homemade biscuits. . . Yum.
I hadn't done this in years; but when I would make homemade biscuits around the holidays; I would use special holiday cookie cutters to make in cute little shapes for our girls. They loved the little snowflake, tree shaped, star, etc. biscuits.
I had done the same when it came Easter time; making into Easter shaped biscuits.

Wishing you both a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy & Blessed New Years.
