HAPPY HALLOWEEN 2019

It's Halloween.

Happy Halloween to you all!

Had a debate with a dear friend.
She pronounces it:  HOLLOW-een.
We've always pronounced it: HAL-oween.

I'm not sure if this is a regional thing or what.

So how do you pronounce it?

And sorry to our Houston Astros who came so close to winning the World Series.  But hey, we've now gone two times in the three years.  I think we're on the right track for sure.

And since it's technically "Inspiration Thursday", here is a porch we like, love the bats flying across the front door.

With all them bats; it also needs a good witch on her magic broom hanging from the ceiling or a witch sitting in the rocker handy out candy.

Everyone have a good Halloween evening.

  2. I say Samhain. The Astros were jinxed last night by Ted Cruz. Blessed Samhain.

:( that Houston did not win.

Love that flower pot on the porch with the orange mums. It could be turned around after Halloween.

  7. Is it not spelled Halloween with an "a" between H and L. I believe it derived from All Hallows it is a contraction.
