SIGH.
RAIN AGAIN.
At 8:30am Saturday, the farm was in the middle of a heavy storm.
Lest we worry about not going later in the day, here is the radar at 3:15pm, still in the middle of heavy rain. Haven't heard from 2nd Family yet to see how much rain we've had but suffice to say, it was a lot.
We were going to see how it is Sunday but more rain is forecast, in fact, an 80% chance.
More tomorrow!
We didn't receive what was expected yesterday; only a very light sprinkle in my area but 80 % of rain and thunderstorms for later today.
ReplyDeleteThanks to Mother Nature; no need watering with the hose, at least for the time being anyway.
Come this summer when it's Hot and Dry, we wish we would have just Some of this rainfall but not to flood stage.
Guess we will just have to accept what we receive.
Enjoy your day and have a wonderful evening
Oh yes, just like the cold, when we complain in winter, I always tell my coworkers and friends, just remember this come August or so, ha.
DeleteHere in Abilene we got a lot of thunder and areas got a lot of rain. But down around Brownwood they really got hammered. Guess April Showers have moved to May. Now where do you supposed May Flowers will have moved? Stay safe and dry my friends.
ReplyDeleteI never thought about that, does seem May the last few years has been way rainier than April...so yeah, about those April showers bringing May flowers....ha. You stay safe too. Thanks for checking in.
Deleteso this is where all of my rain has gone to!
ReplyDeleteWe'll send it your way, we're kinda done with it now, ha. :-)
DeleteHoping you used the rainy weekend to get plenty of rest, especially after being sick.
ReplyDeleteWe did and it was nice, ha.
