Couldn't get on today due to unforeseen technical difficulties, ha.
SO a quick post to just say hi and hope you are having a great Halloween!
And here's a question for you:
According to several shopping analysts that watch trends and what is purchased each year, for 2023, the most popular purchases are Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Peanut M&Ms. Classic M&Ms are in third place followed by Snickers, Tootsie Pops and Twizzlers.
So what is YOUR favorite candy this time of year?
Hope your Halloween is just purr-fect! 🎃🐈⬛
ReplyDeleteIt was! Hope yours was too, good food and lots of purring!!! :-)
DeleteChocolate is best. I really love Tootsie Rolls, a favorite, even though I hear other people hate them at Halloween.
ReplyDeleteWe haven't had tootsie rolls in a long time. Need to remember those next year. And yep, can't go wrong with chocolate. :-)
DeleteLiving out in the country; we really don't get any children coming to our door.
ReplyDeleteHope Everyone had a fun and enjoyable evening.
Will buy 1 bag of Halloween candy to give to the neighbors 5 kiddo's and as for buying candy just for Halloween..... Will wait till after Halloween when it's all marked down and will use in my baking recipes, same with Christmas candy, Easter, etc.
You would be surprised the candy that you can melt down and use as frosting; etc.
Get a load of them Texas Rangers. Just 1 more win and they win the World Series. :-}
Enjoy your day along with rest of the week and have a wonderful evening.
We don't get many in the apartment building, though we can get on a list if we want but I don't think there are many kids here anyway. We KNOW we'll never get any at the farm ha. We'll make out own parties and fun with family/friends.
DeleteAnd look at those Rangers, when you posted this they were a win away and they did it!!
By the way, genius idea to melt down some candy. We'll have to check that out.
DeleteHobart looks spooky! That end graphic is adorable! There can be NO Halloween candy 🍭🍬 in my apartment ... it would not survive!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to November! 🦃
We love that picture of Hobart. Took it last year (or two?) and a sweet friend of ours even printed it out to give it to us a picture we could put out and display (which we do)
Deletesuch a good picture of the ever regal Hobart!
ReplyDeleteAlways regal. And he reminds us every day of that, ha.
DeleteHobart looks quite handsome in that photo. But he's never NOT, is he?
ReplyDeleteHalloween candy favorites - anything chocolate, with PB cups, Snickers, and Twixt being the very top. Worst - anything licorice flavor, hard candies, smarties, etc.
Thanks, and yep, he is always handsome. Not bad for an "old man", ha. He'll be 18 soon. (!!!!). Not big on licorice here either but PB cups and snickers, has, those are two our faves!!
DeletePeppermint patties, any size.. Chocolate covered pecans/cashews/walnuts/cherries.. Fudge
ReplyDeleteNuts and chocolate always go well together. Love it. I enjoy peppermint patties but 2nd Man not so much. I enjoy chocolate and mint combo. Dang, now I want some "Thin Mints", ha.
DeleteCoffee Crisp chocolate bars…..always!
ReplyDeleteOooh those sound yummy.
DeleteSnickers, for sure. But I only had 5 fun-size candy bars this Halloween, and not all on the same day.
ReplyDeleteUsed to be I could crush a small bag all by myself. But that's before I smartened up and realized that sugar/carbs were not doing me any favors on so many, many levels...sigh.
Snickers, so good. We used to eat a lot but have cut way back. I think for all of Halloween before and after we had just a few of the fun size bars.
